What inspired you to start a DeliFair, Fair Squared and Fair Zone?

The increasing global injustice and the knowledge that this will no longer work. The Fairtrade system helps to balance the imbalance between many poor and a few rich. 

What were the main challenges you faced in order to get your fairtrade ranges started; and are you still facing these challenges today?

Like any start-up, it takes time for your product range to find its customers. And of course it cost a lot of energy and money, but it was also a lot of fun and meaning. 


What were the most memorable, defying moments during this time?

To see that our first fair trade project with the latex taps from Tamil Nadu in India works great even after more than 10 years and makes so much sense.


What helped you to see it through to the end?

There are many comrades-in-arms who lend a hand, give courage and ultimately ensure success together.


What are your plans for the next 5 years?

We would like to launch Fair Fashion, Fair Jewelery and Fair Furniture.
